Solutions · Family offices

Family offices.

For family offices and small RIAs (US$50M+ AUM) whose clients are asking about systematic crypto exposure.

Non-custodial infrastructure. Self-host or managed. Audit-grade. Family-office ready.

Five reasons

Why family offices choose STAXIS.

  1. Non-custodial by architecture

Each client’s capital lives in their own wallet or exchange account. No commingling with other clients. No commingling with STAXIS. Provable from the API permissions scope.

For a fiduciary, this is the structural difference that separates “we hold some crypto for clients” from “we use disciplined infrastructure your CCO can defend.”

  2. Audit-grade governance

Every swarm has a documented thesis, a governance pipeline (paper → canary → live → degraded → retired), and a hash-chained audit log. Monthly Calibration Reports. SOC 2 Type I attestation targeted for Year 1; Type II for Year 2 (not yet attained).

When your auditor asks, “how do you know what your strategy did?”, the answer is in the audit log, signed and cryptographically verifiable.

  3. Stacks on your existing custody

Coinbase Institutional, BitGo, Onramp Bitcoin, Kraken, Gemini. Keep your existing custody arrangement; STAXIS adds the strategy layer through trade-only API keys.

  4. Circuit breaker at the infrastructure layer

Daily 2.5% / 3% breaker enforced across three layers (in-process Rust, Redis shared state, Postgres audit log). Property-tested invariants.

Important: This is a technical risk control, NOT a guarantee of maximum loss. Market gaps, slippage, exchange outages, or technical failures may cause losses exceeding 3%.

  5. Proprietary market intelligence

STAXIS runs its own planetary-scale market-intelligence layer for regime detection and macro context — the same intelligence backbone behind every swarm. Not available to in-house quant teams; included for STAXIS Enterprise customers.

Deployment options

Identical architecture. Operational choice.

your cloud · self-hostyou operateapiengineledgerSTAXIS cloud · managedwe operate

Self-host

You run STAXIS on your AWS, GCP, or Azure infrastructure. Full data segregation. SSO via your identity provider. Your DevOps team owns the deployment.

  • Onboarding: 30–60 days
  • Pricing: $60K–$200K/year (base; same as managed)
  • Customer pays infrastructure costs
  • SOC 2 readiness evidence shared under NDA

Managed

STAXIS runs on our infrastructure. Per-customer data segregation. Your team consumes the service through API + dashboard. We operate the underlying systems.

  • Onboarding: 14–30 days
  • Pricing: +$20–40K/year vs self-host (ops cost)
  • SLA: 99.5% uptime; 24-hour escalation
  • Quarterly audit reports

Most family offices start managed; transition to self-host in Year 2+ if compliance preference shifts.

Enterprise pricing

Year 1 base: $60K – $200K.
